RUNNING GLORY was narrowly defeated by RISE BRETHREN when they clashed at their last outing over the same course and distance that they both compete over again today, and he might be able to turn the tables. That was Running Glory’s first run back and one can fairly expect that the John Size-trained horse should be improved for today. That said, Rise Brethren remains in terrific form, and he could easily have his measure again given he’s only 1.5kg worse off in comparison. The lack of pace in the race gives Sight Spirit legitimate claims. He can work forward to potentially take up the running and although the 1800m might be a slight query, I am happy to back the judgement of John Size. In addition, it doesn’t look like it will be a testing 1800m with a general lack of pace entered with only ENJOYING being a horse that is likely to contest things early. CELESTIAL POWER and FLYING QUEST are the best of the rest with the former being close enough to Rise Brethren when they met in Race 117. Rise Brethren and Sight Spirit are worth betting due to Running Glory coming up too short.
