CIRCUIT MIGHTY has created a positive impression in his recent starts in Hong Kong, including his latest effort when he was tight for room late in the race behind Sweet Encounter. Purton taking over from Poon is a major plus, as we have often seen (Stoltz most notably) and from a low draw he should find a prominent position easily and take some running down. HORSEAIN BOLT is an interesting runner, as he really is better than this grade by his numbers and gets McDonald taking over from Poon as well! He can win if the top-jock can get his mind on the job late in the race. COMMANDING MISSILE is the horse at a bigger price that is also value in the race as he ran well on his seasonal return. With natural improvement and some luck in the running, he can figure in the finish. KING ECCELLENTE didn’t get the clearest run last time and was good in defeat. He doesn’t have much to find to be competitive and looks a real improver. COMING PATCH is another downgrader and he’s shown glimpses of ability. He’s drawn to get a soft trip and will be better second-up, with the booking of De Sousa catching the eye. The main bets here are Circuit Mighty and Horsesain Bolt. I must have something small on Commanding Missile as well.
